Bouygues UK appointed to build luxury residential apartment scheme at MediaCityUK in Salford

Work is about to begin on a luxury residential apartment scheme at MediaCityUK in Salford.

The £35 million Lightbox development comprises 238 apartments over 19 storeys on the waterfront at the media and technology hub.

Designed by AHR, Lightbox will comprise studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, available for private sale.

“We are very proud of what we have achieved here at MediaCityUK so far, and Lightbox will bring a new residential community to what is already a thriving and vibrant destination,” said Stephen Wild, managing director of MediaCityUK.

Bouygues UK has been appointed build the development with construction work due to start at the end of April.

Completion of the scheme is anticipated for the first quarter of 2019.
